Currency
The Euro (EUR, €) is the currency used in the Republic of Ireland while Northern Ireland uses the Pound Sterling (GBP, £) as part of the United Kingdom.
Language
Irish is the national and first official language of the Republic of Ireland with English being designated as the second official language. Northern Ireland doesn’t have an official language, but English is the de facto official language of the United Kingdom with Irish being recognized as a regional language. English is the most common language spoken throughout the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
