When I sailed with Semester at Sea during the Spring 2010 voyage, it was aboard the MV Explorer, a converted cruise ship from the Mediterranean Sea. I was thrilled to have the opportunity to circumnavigate the globe visiting ten countries throughout the semester, but there was so much more I got to experience as well. I’m Kelly, aka the Poky Little Wanderer, a sassy little traveler who dreams of wandering the world and experiencing everything it has to offer.

My husband and I along with our adorable red Doberman, Pandora, are from Buffalo, NY and moved to Baltimore, MD late 2018. Our full-time jobs sadly only allow a certain number of vacation days each year. So my husband and I try to maximize our vacation time by planning trips around weekends and holidays, as well as keeping a tight transportation schedule to avoid taking off more time than we absolutely have to.
