‘The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page.’
Perhaps it’s become clichéd, but I love that quote since it combines two of my passions: traveling and books.
Before being bitten by the travel bug, I explored the world and all the wonders it has to offer through books. Even now, when wanderlust has me firmly in its clutches, I still find travel inspiration through reading. Be it a story set in a foreign country, or an epic journey undergone by the characters. I love to vicariously experience new places and cultures when I can’t be traveling myself. As I read, I often find myself pausing to look up a destination or adding another thing to my bucket list.
